Lake Holon Trekking Experience!
(I'm encouraged to do this blog to help other hikers how to visit this amazing place.)

Parker/Lake Holon (1,400+) The most idyllic of lakes in the Philippines is Lake Holon (Lake Maughan) in T'boli, South Cotabato. Nestled on the mountains of South Cotabato, as the caldera lake of the famed Mt. Parker, it is so clean that you can drink water from it while swimming. To get there, you have to register in the Municipality of Tboli (100php). Then ride a habal habal (tricycle) worth 300php for 2 people one way to get in the 2 trails, either Sala cafe trail (easiest, 3-4hrs) or Kule (Challenging, 4-5hrs).

Note: No walk in trekkers/hikers. You have to book a schedule before you can trek
There will be 4 Stations before you reach the camping site or the lake it self. They said, that Lake Holon is guarded by 15 spirits or guardians in the ancient history til now. (so
please be careful and respect the place).

If you think you can't survive the 3 hrs of hiking you can choose to have the Horse Back riding (worth 400 php, one way) to get in the last station (4).
